The status under your username (junior member, member, senior member) is determined by the number of posts you have made. As you make more posts, your status will change.

To create a custom title, click User CP then Edit Profile. In the bottom half of the page is a space for Custom User Title. Type the desired title there, select Reset and click Save Changes when done.
