Foster parents may be single or married; they may own or rent their home or apartment.

You will need to discuss the details of your criminal record with your state foster care specialist; however, any history of crimes against children will almost certainly disqualify you from foster parenting.

I am getting my foster license soon, In mapp class now. My question is can I have four children in my care being a separated women? I am 51 and live on my own. My home is more than adequet and I will be home with them? I heard license is for four at the most which would be fine. Thanks, luv this site #1
